Matthew Matt James, born 5 December 1991 in North Carolina. The parents of Matthew Matt James are Manny James and Patty James. His mother was caucasian while his father was Nigerian. Following his graduation at Sanderson High School, in 2010 he enrolled at Wake Forest University and obtained the Bachelor's degree in Economics. James gained fame after he appeared on screen for his debut on the reality show star in The Bachelorette. In 2020 he got selected as the bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25, making him one of the very only African American male lead which was later aired in 2021. James seemed to be the perfect match to be the role because He is attractive, well-rounded, tall personality. Rachael Krokconnell won the competition because James decided to enter into a romantic relationship with her. He teamed up with the well-known professional dancer Arnold in 2021 and competed in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th.
