 Sara Evans is an American country singer and songwriter who has a net worth of $16 million. Sara Evans signed with RCA Nashville and released her debut album "Three Chords and the Truth" in 1997. In 1998 she debuted "No Place That Far", which was an immediate success. The album was certified Gold. The third album "Born to Fly" was released in the year 2000. The title track was a hit at #1 on the Hot Country Songs chart. Born to Fly was certified double Platinum. She received the recipient of the Video of the Year award and was nominated for 6 other awards from the Country Music Association in 2001. She released the "Restless" as well as "Real Fine Place" albums in 2003, 2005 2006, "Stronger", in 2011 "Slow Me Down" (2011) as well as "Real Fine Place". She scored top-charting singles with "Suds in the Bucket" and "A Real Fine Place to Begin". She became the first country music performer to be featured on ABC's Dancing with the Stars in 2006.Evans was born on February 5, 1971 , in Boonville, Missouri to parents Pat and Jack Evans. She is one of seven kids. The family was raised on the 400-acre crop and livestock farm. Her mother also served as a school bus drive and her father was employed at the Columbia Daily Tribune newspaper.
