 America Ferrera is an actress also a producer, director and director who has a net worth of $1.6 million. America Ferrera was first recognized for her performance as a leading lady in the film "Real Women have Curves" in 2002. Ferrera went on to gain greater recognition for her performance in the film "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" and on the ABC television show "Ugly Betty." Some of Ferrera's other credits include the movies "The Dry Land," "Our Family Wedding," and "End of Watch," and the NBC sitcom "Superstore. America Ferrera was the youngest of six children born to Honduran immigrants from Americas and Carlos on the 18th of April 1984 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents divorced when she was seven years old, and her father returned to Honduras. Growing up in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles, Ferrera went to Calabash Street Elementary School as well as George Ellery Hale Middle School and El Camino Real High School. She knew at an early age she wanted to be an actor.
