 Ann Margret is a Swedish-American actor, singer and dancer with an estimated net worth of $25 million. Her role in "Bye Bye Birdie", "Viva Las Vegas," and "Grumpy Old Men" are her most well-known. Ann-Margret Olsson was born Stockholm, Sweden, on 28 April 1941. After her birth, her parents moved back to their home, a small arctic village in the north central region of Sweden. Jamtland was described by her as a tiny farm community, and a lumberjacking town. Her father emigrated to the US after which she and her mother joined him in 1946.She lived in a suburb outside Chicago and was made a naturalized citizen in 1949. She was a dancer as a young girl and was skilled enough to perform with ease. Before she was required to accept an employment as a receptionist at a funeral parlor her mother would make the costumes she wore to recitals with her hands.
